OKC for Soccer launches community survey on future stadium

All of Oklahoma City is highly encouraged to have a say in shaping the vision for the future downtown stadium experience.

OKLAHOMA CITY – OKC for Soccer | OKC es Fútbol, the dynamic initiative led by Echo to reimagine professional soccer in Oklahoma City, today announced the launch of an extensive community input initiative to inform future design and development of a best-in-class experience at the multipurpose stadium to be located downtown.

Set to open in 2027 as part of MAPS 4, Oklahoma City’s publicly funded initiative to enhance quality of life, the stadium will be operated by OKC’s pro soccer club and be the home to a wide variety of top-tier sports, music, and entertainment activities. Gathering feedback in partnership with CSL, the outreach project features an in-depth survey related to the stadium’s design, event offerings, and amenities.

“As a powerful unifier, sports & entertainment events have the remarkable ability to build and strengthen community, and elevating community remains central to how we’re approaching plans for the stadium and district. This survey is critical to getting it right,” said Christian Kanady, Founding Partner & CEO of Echo.

“This is every resident’s chance to influence the stadium we are going to build, and they should think far beyond soccer,” said Court Jeske, President of OKC for Soccer. “We’re asking the community to weigh in and share what kinds of other sports, concerts, dining, seating, and amenities they want to see in the future. Our goal to achieve one of the most in-depth and expansive community listening initiatives ever delivered in the process.”

Any interested members of the community are invited to participate in the survey, which takes approximately 10-15 minutes to complete. For providing their input, respondents will have the opportunity to win OKC for Soccer swag and be entered into a drawing for a variety of premium prizes.

The survey will officially open at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 19, and close at 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31. Versions will be available in both English and Spanish.
