OKC for Soccer launches “Name the Team!” campaign

Fans are encouraged to complete a poll to provide suggestions for names, colors, and brand.

OKLAHOMA CITY – OKC for Soccer | OKC es Fútbol, the dynamic initiative to reimagine professional soccer in Oklahoma City, today launched the “Name the Team!” campaign, an exciting initiative that puts fans at the center of the club’s branding process.

The “Name the Team!” campaign features a poll where fans can provide suggestions for team names and colors for OKC’s professional men’s soccer team, set to begin play in 2027. The poll is open from now until Friday, January 31, at 11:59 PM CT and is accessible HERE. The campaign also includes listening sessions and a later online vote of the top potential names.

“It’s such a rare opportunity to name a professional sports team, and we can’t wait to see what fans come up with,” said Court Jeske, President of OKC for Soccer. “We always want the club to reflect and represent our ambitious city. Getting the team name and colors right is integral to that commitment. We know the OKC community is full of creativity and local pride, and we can’t wait to see it revealed throughout this process.”
